Onlend is being designed for people in Australia who are buying a home, thinking about refinancing, or simply want to understand whether their current home loan still suits them. You can start with any of those goals and change your mind along the way.
Very little. A first conversation only asks a few context questions, such as what you are hoping to do and your rough timing. Detailed information and documents are only requested later, through a secure account, if you decide to continue.
Not yet. Onlend is preparing to launch. You can register your interest and we will let you know when the service is available. Nothing on this site is currently an offer of credit or credit assistance.
No. Guides, calculators and the guided start are all available without an account. An account becomes useful later, when you want to save your progress and share detailed information securely.
Before you proceed with anything, Onlend will explain in writing how it is paid, including any commission it may receive from a lender and any fee you would be asked to pay. Our credit guide will set this out once the service is licensed and operating.
There can be. Common examples include discharge fees from your current lender, application or settlement fees with a new lender, government registration fees and, for fixed-rate loans, possible break costs. A refinance comparison should keep these upfront costs visible rather than hiding them in a monthly figure.
No. The calculators produce educational estimates from the assumptions you enter. They are not loan offers, comparison rates, assessments of what you can borrow or approvals. Lenders use their own methods and costs.
A check helps you understand your position. From there you might stay where you are, ask your current lender to review your rate, or explore a refinance. Each of those is a legitimate outcome, and nothing moves forward without your say-so.
Yes. Staying put is often the right answer. A check is useful even when the conclusion is that your current loan is working well for you.
Repricing means asking your current lender to review the rate on your existing loan. Refinancing means moving your loan to a different lender or product. Repricing usually involves less paperwork; refinancing may open up different features or pricing but can involve switching costs.
Loan care is an optional, ongoing review of your home loan on terms you agree to. You choose whether to turn it on, what it covers and how you are contacted, and you can change or stop it at any time.
Information you share is used to provide the service you ask for. Detailed financial and identity information is only collected inside a secure account, never through public forms. Our privacy policy explains this in full.
No. Identity documents and detailed financial records are only ever requested inside a secure, signed-in workspace with checked access.
Use the contact form on the Help page. It tells you what will happen after you send it, including when you can expect a reply once the service is operating.
Visit the Complaints page. It explains how to raise a concern, what we will do with it and how external dispute resolution works.
